Here is a very interesting documentary made by Alex Jones about Bohemian Grove and the strange rituals that go on there, "The Order of Death":

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... &plindex=7

"To commemorate the five year anniversary of his historic infiltration of the Bohemian Grove, the occult playground of the global elite, Alex Jones presents his newest film, The Order of Death, an amazing and horrifying look into the rites and rituals of the modern day descendents of Babylonian mystery cults.

This new film delves deeply into the history of the Grove where powerful men make decisions that affect the world but are completely hidden from public scrutiny. "The Order of Death" details how the Grove has been the backdrop for some of the most earthshattering events in human history including the development of the Starwars program and the Manhattan Project. "

One should always be careful of Alex Jones, he is a fanatic and I don't think he considers the possibility that other human beings may have differences of opinion with him AND be correct.

You might want to read a book by Jon Ronson

called THEM.

Might give a better perspective.

I would like to posit something here.. What if .. a hundred + years ago, you had a group of people who wanted to enjoy the beauty of the woods and include drama, art, and manic partying, .. this sounds like it might be enjoyable. .. Perhaps later on members of the Bohemian Grove organizing committee ( I don't know if this existed, .. just speculating) wanted to "improve" their image of partying bohemian drama geeks by asking people to come to their forest party weekend and give talks on matters of interest of the day. This may have then further evolved, as their membership evolved to encourage more famous speakers.

Their own dramatics may have begun as those of many fraternal organizations of the day did, to set the tone of the weekend, and state the basic message of their "get together" in a way that would be involved, entertaining, and hold the interest of those attending. This may make the Ceremony of the Cremation of Care a way to put the idea of "noblesse oblige" which WAS a powerful force "..back in the day.." in a box for the weekend to allow one to party without worrying over others less blessed .. for a time.

This, of course, is pure speculation but I believe it may have some truth in that it allows those originators to be human beings, and does not demonize those who attend this even now. I've never had the pleasure to attend one of those gatherings, but I have to admit that were I invited, I would go! If anything.. just to see what the inner context might be.

I remember Harry Shearer doing a segment on C2C a few years ago where he recounted his experiences at Bohemian Grove. I don't recall exactly what he said, but I think the gist of it was a bunch of rich white guys playing at Lord Of The Flies for a weekend.

Sorta like how so many judges, politicians, cops, etc. are closet masochists: When you spend so much time making decisions that affect others' lives, sometimes there's an innate need to pay somebody else to whip YOU for a change.

Maybe that's wrong, and BoGrove really is the dark heart of a satanist meta-conspiracy. But Alex Jones isn't going to be the guy who sells that to me. If he told me tomorrow that the sky is blue, well, I might have to consider the possibility that the sky is actually red. Or green. Or beige...

Looks interesting, based on the reviews. I'll have to check it out.

I just think its strange to have a ceremony called the "Cremation of Care." Then invite 100's of the worlds elite to this ceremony. What possibly could that mean?

A good excuse for a party?! Sounds like it to me! I deal with the public and there are times when, were I to see some of them being burned at the stake, I might just walk by laughing!

See I'm from the assumption that the kind of mentality that you offered up is more of a disease in society and within people of power and authority in the way they think. I'm so glad the majority of people don't think like that! Just further proof in my mind that Freemasonry is a cancer on society.

It looks like there may be a movie made of Them. As I recall by Jack Black's production company. As I wrote in my introduction to my interview with Ronson in the current UFO Mag - I think Jack Black was born to play Alex Jones. It seems like destiny to me. :D

Then this just shows that you don't really know a darned thing about Freemasonry. Its a very experiential thing, .. you haven't had the experience therefore you're only seeing it from the outside..

On a different note, I think that ANYONE who works with the public in any general way MUST have moments when you'd just like to turn on them all with a firehose .. at the very least.. After awhile you just run out of compassion, but there is still a job that needs to get done each and every day.
