Have you ever had an affair with a married person? If so do you regret and are wrapped with guilt, or do you savor the memories?

I posted this here since it is a question of morality.

First off - - ever since Bush took office I have begun to hate the term "moral".

Other then that - - - life is interesting.

If an "affair" means more than one time, then, well, twice, IF 2 or 3 flings with one married person constitutes an "affair," that is.

I DID regret it. I was not particularly guilt ridden, but I loathed the "married" person, because I was deceived. It was revealed after things, um, started up.

I also had no respect for the "married" person, seeing as how their kind step out on their wives, and rationalize that it's "not cheating because it's with another man," etc.

My reasons for saying "NO," quickly, were that I had no desire to facilitate them in their ventures, nor any desire in being the "other woman" legally named in a divorce lawsuit.

I felt they were actually behaving dispictably, and found no real satisfaction in the situations.

FYI, for me, that goes also for "involved" gay men who are "in" a relationship, too, and I have oft seen the same lies.

Would I premeditatedly agree to it? No.

My wife is married, and I have an eternal love affair with her.

I love my house.
I love my house.
I love my house.
I love my house.

Hmm. I don't go that way, however I would consider that cheating. Which opens up another question. What is cheating? Kissing the married person? Heavy petting? Dinner? Sex without a condom?

Of course I have - I'm married, not blind! Heck, without my libido, my own dear wife wouldn't recognize me!

You must have been heartsick over the word "ethics" after 1992.

I met a girl online once and we sort of hit it off(at best someone can online) we were talking about meeting in person, but she came out and said she was married; I dropped the relationship right there.

I don't mind going out with a girl who has a boyfriend because all I see is just a boyfriend, but when she's married I see more than just a married woman.

There is a higher bond between the two married people and if she wanted to cheat than there are greater problems there that I don't want to get involved with.

For some reason when I read the question I can't help but think of the people who during our Southern Summers ask if it's hot enough for me...

Well.. I am giving an update. As much as I wanted to give her the bone and as much as I liked and like her as a person. I decided against it and really had an internal struggle over it. I really have never had to fight with myself so hard over an issue. The women had two kids, which I was cool with, however the chaos that would have been introduced into their life was my deciding factor. I feel like I fought for the greater good, however the victory was nothing to feel good about, because the battle was so tough, because I still hope her husband wraps his car into a tree.
