Post subject:  Crop Circle I went to visit!

Hey all,

i tagged this onto the end of another thread but i think it got lost ... i've just added a blog entry to my blog about a little trip me and my girl took on sunday ...

Thanks for the nice pics, good job. Looks like an interesting formation. Is there any kind of military installation in the general area? People often report seeing black helicopters in the vicinity of crop circles, so I always wonder about the military connection.

Salisbury Plain is actually awash with military installations, the highest concentration of them anywhere in the UK. That's what makes it all so interesting in some ways. Even some of the most secret of installations and HQ's are in the area. Not to mention the most significant biological research centers.

Salisbury Plain is also a firing range.

no problem lesley, we were also trying to find the really cool one in East Field on Knapp Hill but we ran out of time! feck! The sun was really hot that day as well.
