I've used Tarot cards.
They seem redundant really. But people feel like you are actually
working or doing something when you use devices, as opposed to
just saying what you "read" from them in a reading.

They're tools. Nothing enchanted or occult about them.
Just like any other form of scrying.

iching? I recall trying something like that when I was a kid.
Random fortune cookies.

I've had iching before. Nearly scratched myself a hole. Put a little cortisone on it and it healed.

No more iching.

I am a silly ass.

Thank you Degataga.

So, it is exactly like the Tarot.
It boils down to language and culture really, as to
what best suits the language and culture of the reader.
Not that non-Chinese (in this instance) should avoid the I Ching,
but rather, that the medium one uses for scrying should "fit" the
language, culture, and understanding of the one who uses it.

Like I said, the "tools" of "seeing" are really nothing in themselves.
They are instead a tool for the reader to interperet his/her own
"intuitive discernment."

Clouds, tea leaves, even swirls of cream in coffee can be used with
equal success and accuracy by a genuine intuitive.
