Today's the decision day for Jeff Peckman's Initiative 300 in Denver, which would establish a UFO commission in the city, aimed at gathering evidence about UFOs and ETs.

I wouldn't get too excited, though, since this article makes passage look pretty grim:

A recent poll showed 90 percent of voter opposed to the measure, but it is unclear if that poll was taken before or after the recent spike in UFO sightings.

Were they to do this in NYC, I'd consider it a HORRIBLE waste of money!

Denver's UFO initiative loses !

http://www.9news.com/rss/article.aspx?storyid=161385

The articles sez: Denver Initiative 300, also known as the ET Commission, failed with 0 percent of the precincts reporting, 84 to 16.

Two reactions: Ouch and how is that possible to know with 0 percent of precints reporting?

All these movies and TV shows about Aliens or Ancient Aliens on History Channel or Invasion of Aliens or whatever. They are prepping the people for something. And no offense DavidG but if a committee like this were to ever pass check the roster list. I guarantee the people who are running the show are Freemasons.

New York is already taxed out the ass and a mess financially. What would a little more hurt?

I donated $10 and Jeff Peckman sent me a cool poster for the initiative. I knew it wasn't going to pass, but stranger things have happened. I thought the poster was going to be crappy but it's actually pretty nice. Kind of a neat little piece of ephemera.

It's this one. He also sent out a flyer describing the initiative.
