Watched this last night and fucking loved it.

It's a documentary about Phillippe Petit, the high-wire artist who actually strung a wire across the WTC Twin Towers in NYC in 1974 and did a high-wire act on it. The movie details his stunt, how elaborate the planning was and how they pulled it off.

I'll probably review it on the PopCast episode 11, but wanted to post about it first, since I highly recommend this movie. Just an absolutely breathtaking film and a story that I wouldn't have believed if I hadn't seen it.

One of my favorite movies of all time!

Unbelievable, what this guy did. And the documentary itself is very well-done. I was spellbound.

It really is a masterpiece. I stumbled across it about a year or two ago and was transfixed.

At times in the beginning, it almost comes across as a "Petit's 11" caper without anyone trying to be cool. What they went through to infiltrate was unreal.

I'm surprised JV, the New Yorker that he is, didn't want to check it out.

It is jaw dropping.
