Memphis was always a great area. People don't realize how revered Jerry Lawler was back in the day there. He really was as popular as Elvis to the people of Memphis. He and Jarrett deserve a lot more credit for what they have done for wrestling as bookers than they get.

Yep. That's why I hope a lot of people see this movie. He really was the King then.

To see him back in the day is the only way to appreciate what he once meant to wrestling. Then you compare it to the shit role they made for him in WW Eww and it's just sad.

Nothing makes me smile more than RSS's unending hatred for all things WWE.

There's a doc on Netflix called "Lipstick and Dynamite" that is all about the women wrestlers of the 50's and 60's that is supposed to be very good as well.
