Anyone have any thoughts on the Evil Dead remake?

Dig it? Hate it?

I thought it was complete Garbage myself.

I have a great dislike for 99.9% of all remakes/re-imaginings. So I can add this one to the list of "wasn't worth the effort to redo"?

This reviewer hits the nail on the head:

"EVIL DEAD and the Disingenuous Remake"

Totally. I thought it was very on point.

Best scary/horror movie I've seen recently was Lovely Molly, Eduardo Sanchez's latest film.

And If you like Lynchian, European type obscure movies, Holy Motors is pretty weird, but also good. Both on Netflix streaming.
