I saw TWAM a few months ago and it was quite a shocking and depressing film. I just saw Food Inc. and it's filled with even more info.

I think both of these are must see movies. Stuff is so screwed up in this country and these are perfect examples.

Has anyone else seen these?

Just watched Food Inc last night and was outraged at Monsanto - so I'll be looking for that other film - and also at the way the law protects and panders to these ecological miscreants.

We try to grow or pick all we can, and we make our own jams, jellies, soaps, and cleaning supplies, but I'm pretty sure after seeing that cow being forced to walk on its knees/broken legs to slaughter, my wife will have me going to the local butcher's shop for all our meat now (sorry Win Dixie) - they already process our venison and she seems rather fond of them. Of course reading Michael Pollan's books have influenced her as well.

Everyone should see Food Inc. Shocking. I won't go near our local supermarket anymore.

Thanks for the heads up on "The World According to Monsanto". Will check it out.
