Pretty good final show. The rock opera was over the top, but not necessarily over the top good. The whole daddy issue thing was a bit of a plot and origin convienience.

Liked
Feldman was cool, Cecil's impassioned plea, Corey-ogrophy, Mamosas, Warren's health issues, the cyberpunk ending to the opera and the pissing in bed closing scene.

Didn't like
The songs should have been funny or in bad taste - disappointing, the opera went on a bit long, show lacked some laughs - I found myself a little bored.

Sad to see it end, but it was trending downward for me of late.
Overall a great show that I'm so glad Tim discovered.

My top 5 episodes:
1. Savage Streets, Safe Kids
2. The Bad Fo Po episode
3. It girl
4. Warren's gay
5. Greg The Bunny, pedophile

Honorable Mention:
Warren goes to prison
Warren starts own support group
Warren fires Cecil for stalker

Bottom 3
Warren needs money
The Seth Green gets hit by car, making amends show
The Rock Opera finale

Note: I did miss the pilot.

Wow, I can't believe I let this thread die. My bad.

Hopefully you can see the pilot someday. It actually wasn't a pilot, but rather just a regular episode that wasn't intended to be the 1st, but MTV liked it best and wanted it to be the first show. Not sure if they run it on MTV.com or what, but it is a great episode. I think they probably have it on iTunes.

I think the season kind of started to wither a bit towards the end, but it was still great TV. My favorite episodes were Bad Po Fo, Warren the Sex Addict, Warren starts his own AA, and the 1st episode (Warren makes a sex tape).

Re: Season 2, there's this posting @ the Greg The Bunny website ...

Quote:
WILL THERE BE A SEASON TWO ON MTV?

At this time we do not know the fate of Warren. MTV has not yet ordered more, and they have several months in which to make up their minds. But ratings have not been in the amounts desired, so we know the show has been something of a disappointment in the network's eyes.

WHAT ABOUT COMEDY CENTRAL?

So many of you have suggested Comedy Central, MTV's corporate cousin, as a potentially better network for our brand of humor. We can assure you that we have done all we can to try and explore this possibility, but at this time we won't be making the move.

WHAT ABOUT A DVD?

We can assure you that there will eventually be a DVD of some sort. No plans have been set, but we are confident that one will be made available and once we know for sure, we'll send updates to all members of this site, as well as Warren and Greg's FB and Twitter feeds.

WHAT COULD BE NEXT FOR WARREN?

Keep in mind this is our fourth show (counting public access) on three networks over the last ten years, and as long as we control the creative rights to Warren and his pals, there is always the possibility of new life. Such is the spirit of the Fabricated American, even a drunken one.

Maybe they should talk to the Adult Swim guys. Warren is better than that Tim and Eric crap.

Clearly, Warren the Ape was cancelled by MTV, the schmucks.

No word on a DVD release yet, but I'm sure it will happen at some point.

They did, however, finally get around to making the Bad Fo Po movie poster:

And, for memory's sake, the Bad Po Fo trailer, still fucking hilarious ...
