Maybe in the TV version. Carl's got some severe issues in the comics.

Uh oh! Well, he has to be a bit of a psychopath, doesn't he? And [SPOILER for anyone who has not seen the TV series and wants to watch it later] it is unfortunate that Lori was at her mothering best when she was dying. Will TV-Carl really take in her advice?

Well, I figured there was absolutely no way the TV show could match the comic when it came to Michonne vs. the Governor.

Still, the season has definitely paid off in a great way.

Evil Damon Lindelof was on Talking Dead tonight and they asked him which Lost character would survive the zombie apocalypse. He answered: "The dog, Vincent."

Loved that answer.

But now Lindelof has managed to remind me once again how much I miss my favorite show.

Fuck you Lindelof.

I missed that from David Lindelof! Very funny indeed!

YES!! This mid-season finale was pretty gripping.

[SPOILERS below]

I think I missed much of it as I could barely watch the fight between Michionne and the Governor. It was no holds barred and crazy intense. I'll have to watch it again.

Plus I am loving Carl more and more. He is really cool now and a total contrast to the young man in Tyrese's group who seems way less experienced and has no judgment. (BTW, where in the world were all of them hiding out that they are still so "soft" about things?) Although, I have no delusions that I would have been killed off a LONG time ago and certainly would not have survived up until this point.

Also, since Kirkman is intimately involved in the show, it's probably why it's so good.

Ok. I have said before how much I really love this show and I love a good debate over whether or not a zombie apocalypse can or cannot happen in real life, but c'mon...

"Apparently the couple disagreed as to the plausibility of a real life zombie outbreak."

(Also, the more I am reading about how meth affects people, the more I am thinking maybe the zombie apocalypse is already here.)

I was gonna pass pass this show but was encouraged to watch it by friends who live near where is is being shot here in GA. I was hooked at once, I guess I expected it to be all about the zombies but was pleasantly surprised to find a compelling story and vivid characters..........if Daryl dies 'we riot'!

Yeah... It's so strange... I couldn't wait for something to happen to Lizzie, but now I am haunted by the affects of how this happened on everyone else who survived. And poor Carol - the heavy lifter of the group. How does she not get broken down by all of this? It's interesting that Carol got to see Rick's side when he banished her after killing Karen and David; and Tyreese got to see Carol's side when she killed Karen and David when he watched her take care of Lizzie.

Very sad and depressed today...

BTW, did you watch "Talking Dead" afterward?
