We have a program here in my state that airs on the state's public broadcasting network that deals with the the ecology of the wild areas of our state. Touching on wildlife, the native species of plants and trees, natural curiosities (caverns and waterfalls for instance), as well as the different programs for conservation and education in place to protect and help the population learn about our natural resources. Which makes me wonder if there are similar programs n other states? Well, do you have any such thing in your state, province, or country?

I can't say I know of any such programming here in NYC for NYS. But I will look further and see if I see anything.

I didn't find anything like that here in Brooklyn. Public access seems to have mostly information on urban programs for people who need them or programs providing "spiritual" advice or (I think) lifestyle programs in languages I don't understand. There is a program about children that need to be adopted which is truly sad.

You feel better about your state, don't you, VampElvis?

Well of course I do, but I'm hardly an impartial judge because of how much I loathe the city. But hey, here are a few episodes from the heart of dixie you can watch for yourself and be the judge. You may even get a laugh from the 70s production techniques event though the shows are less than a decade old.
