Ok. I know this is a long shot but its been bugging me for many, many years. Back in the early 80's (late 70's???) I remember a scene from a show where a family was trapped in what I believe was their house. When they looked out their windows, they had bricks over them and the TV showed what I think was a test pattern w/ a lightning bolt over it. I was really young at the time and into science fiction, as I still am. I think it was on either at the same time or slightly before the show "Otherworld". Anyone?

Not sure what ran before Otherworld, but TJ Hooker (ABC) and Diff'rent Strokes and Double Trouble (NBC) were the competition during its brief run.

It only ran from Jan. to March 1985.

Leave it to me to be tortured by some obscure scene from an unknown show.

I remember TJ Hooker. I made some comment asking my Dad how much TJ charged as a hooker for services while we were at a family function. My Mom was mortified and I found myself confined to my room for a few days after this to think about what I had said. I still think about it and it just gets funnier considering the relatives I was around.
