Premieres Wednesday, June 26th.

Some changes for the show ...

This Summer, BB will air on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Wednesday. Presumably, Wednesday will be the live eviction night. Not a huge fan of the new schedule, since it clumps everything together, but I'll still watch.

The season is being billed as the "100 days of Summer," so it will be much longer than previous years (hence the early premiere) and will likely feature a larger cast that in previous years.

Also, Big Brother After Dark is moving from Showtime 2 to TV Guide Network and has been reduced to 2 hours instead of 3.

Rumors surrounding the HGs are that it will be some kind of 'family pairing' theme, where HGs will be paired with a family member inside the house. Also, it is allegedly an all new cast, with no returning HGs, but there are also rumors that folks from Survivor or Amazing Race could be on the show, so we'll see. Additionally, Julie Chen has teased that there will be a twist that will allow for "no floaters" this year. Not sure what that means, but maybe some kind of penalty for people who throw competitions or an overall 'team' theme to start the show.

The complete cast of HGs should be revealed this coming week.

Cast will be announced on Thursday, 6/20.

Also, BBAD on TV Guide Network has been called 'curated' feeds, which may mean they take the best shit from the day and air it over 2 hours, which might be better than the usual crap that used to be on BBAD.

I stopped worrying about BBAD after I found bootleg links to streams of the feeds and could watch whenever.

I guess Psycho Sid's boy didn't win last year? Or is there a winner on this? I don't know; I read books.

Watching bad TV is less of a time investment than reading a bad book.

Heck, I wish I actually had time to read even bad books right now. We're revamping our OS at work and it is way to many review / design / discuss documents to take home. *le sigh*

My first-impression (likely way off) rundown of the new cast, from likely to hate to likely to root on:

  Elissa - Rachel's sister. Nuff said.
 Nick - entrepreneur and thinks he's next mike boogie.
 David - lifeguard douchebag.
 Helen - old politico
:!: Jessie - unemployed. That says floater to me.
:( Candice - she works with kids. I hate kids.
:x Judd - hunts frogs in tenn.
:?: Jeremy - works at a boat shop in Texas. Sounds shady.
 Kaitlyn - recruited to the show.
:? Andy - gay prof. Didn't we already had this character already?
:x Aaron - psych student
 Howard - fb player but said hell miss church on Sundays. Ugh.
 Spencer - hoping the railroad guy is cool. But got bad vibe about him.
8) Ginamarie - hope she's the new Keesha.
:D Amanda - might turn out to be a super beetch.
 McCrae - pizza delivery wins big bucks. That would be cool.

TV Guide Channel is not in HD.
HUGE FAIL Julie Chen.

this is a goofball cast. They all seem like major douchebags.
pizza guy might have been the only one that was decent, but winning HOH right off the bat should doom him early.

Te more I watch, the more I dislike this entire cast.

At least after dark has been ruined for me, and I feel no need to watch the TV guide network.

On a game level, I could like Jeremy going around and being a bully, if I thought it was his game. Seems like that's who is though. Douchebag.

Really haven't gotten into it this year. Not sure if it is the early start or that they started on Wednesday and then languished until Sunday, but it's taking a bit longer than usual to get into the season.

I'm sure I'll start getting back into it as the cast thins out a bit. I do already hate Jeremy, he's awful. The nerdy gay kid, McRae, and the bearded dude all stand out as potentially interesting characters. Having only watched like 2 episodes, I still can't tell much about the chicks just yet.

This is the jump the shark season for bb.
Most of the cast are really horrible people. The bigotry is out of control.

I would not be shocked if there is a physical confrontation this season.

Howard and mcrae are the only two I can stomach at the moment.

I can't believe Rachel's sister is winning MVP.

Fishy.
