Just got into this band via the store ipod at one of my places of employment - talk about good old blues with some SERIOUS BALLS. Nevermind the fact that they pull it off as only a 2 piece band, unreal.

Yeah for this kind of hard hitting stuff thickfreakness is a great place to start - for something that breathes a bit more I would recommended attack and release.

After doing some research, I found out that they lent one of their songs to the pilot of Sons of Anarchy. I remember when the song played that I wanted to know the artist. Now I do.

I'm very sorry. A friend of mine mentioned the Black Keys to me. They are just terrible. Their style is just pretentious and came three decades too late. I want to tell them that Jim Morrison is dead and nothing will change that. The only song I've heard that I like was Strange Days, which is in fact a cover and isn't their song. Again, I'm sorry if you like them, I just don't get it.
