Anyone else read this? Primus?

I thought it was interesting, but I don't see it being made into a monthly. And it's basically an ultimates book without being called that.

Is this the one with the children of the X-Men?

I can't bring myself to read Claremont anymore, to be honest. It's like watching a once great quarterback get too old and start taking sack after sack.

Yep, the children and grandchildren of the xmen.

I actually met him this weekend at a comic con.
I attempted to ask him where he thought this fit into continuity and he kind of cut me off and rambled about how it's whatever anyone wants to think of it as.

I guess his point was just read it to enjoy it. But, I gotta say I was kind of turned off.

I think the comic companies are making a huge mistake in this whole retcon, "ultimates line" world they've created.

Why read a book that you KNOW won't last more than 12 issues?

Or worse, goes 12 issues and is forgetten about later -- like the 2099 books.

I gave up on not only Claremont, but anything X related after messiah Complex. After spending 42 bucks just to read an intro to a new Cable storyline and seeing them go from point A to point B, then end up at point A again, it just makes me hate the direction that the former "House of Ideas" has gone.
