WWE officially added Cena v. Batista for the RAW World title.

Kind of a meh match, but midly interesting. There's a good chance that they tinker with that one.

Did they mention anything about a Brett Hart Vs McMahon match?

I haven't watched since Brett was the Guest host. Actually It's been years since I have watched with any sort of regularity, half the time I catch it, I have no idea who half the people are lol...

Anyways, I hope the make that match up, as gimmicky as it would be, it still would be something to see.

Edge v. Chris Jericho:

Add in a ladder, Benoit (i know, he's dead), Kane, Christian and Benamin and you've got a match from Wrestlemania 21.

John Cena v. Batista:

Welcome to Summer Slam 2008.

Shawn Michaels v. Undertaker:

Somebody roll the footage of Wrestlemania 25.

MITB Match: Christian + others who have yet to qualify.

Who cares.

Ugh.

Ha, maybe they should add a boxing match between Mr. T and Rowdey Roddy Pipper, that's an original idea.

How long has Christian been back? last time I looked, he was on TNA (told ya i don't watch much these days) seems like they all ping pong back and forth now like every 6 months lol.

Last time I seen TNA Kurt Angle spit in Hogans face and said he was going back the the WWE... but that was during the Brett Hart appearance on RAW, so that could have just been a parody of the Montreal screw job.

I think Christian has been back for a year or so.

They added Kane, Dolph Ziggler, and Shelton Benjamin to the MITB match. So this is looking like a particularly atrocious field this year.

Also, officially added: Vince McMahon v. Bret Hart ~! Not sure how I feel about this one. I don't think Hart can really do much anymore. I expect a brawl with little to no real bumps at all. Still, it should be a spectacle. Seems like Wrestlemania is turning into the Vince McMahon v. disgruntled former stars show nowadays.

Anyway, the 1st post had been added to include these matches.

I'm just not feeling it this year. I have zero interest in anything the E has done the last six months. Maybe their product has finally passed me by. I mean, I collected the WWE figures up until Mattel took over and I have picked up one (I found a Steve Austin with the 1 of 1000 belt).

Maybe it's because the one guy of the "New Generation" I like (Ted DiBiase, Jr.) is in a never ending, never going anywhere feud with Orton. I can't stand half the roster. I hate Kofi, MVP, Swagger, Punk, Rhodes, Bourne, the Miz and Yoshi. I mean X-pac heat HATE them.

NXT has one guy that can do anything and that's Bryan Danielson (He ain't Daniel Bryan) and they hooked him up with the Miz. The rest of them are complete jokes.

I never thought I'd say this, but fuck WWE and FUCK Vince. I hope and pray that somehow he goes out of business.

Ha, really eh! lol Like an endless story loop.
I caught a rerun of a Hulk Hogan interview from a few months back (when he signed with TNA), and he said he was asked to come back for this years Wrestlemania, but said he didn't want to end up in the same story as it always is. Hogan comes back - fans happy- Vince turns on him - main event - end of contract... Pretty much what Bret is involved in, and like you said, its the Vince Vs disgruntled former employee angle that seems to surface every year about this time.

In my opinion the death of the WWE was when Vince bought the WCW. That ended all competition and led to stagnation. Maybe TNA can get enough momentum behind them to force Vince to put more effort into his product. Sure TNA is full of dinosaurs and no-namers, but so was WCW when the Monday night wars began.

WM is shaping up to be just another PPV. It's already become formulaic in recent years (Taker streak match, MitB match, Vince vs Celebrity/Legend, etc.) but it's really getting stale now. They've got too many PPVs as it is, and with Survivor Series looking to go the way of the Dodo, that leaves only Royal Rumble, WM, and Summerslam of the original "Big Four". They've successful devalued their brand name by flooding the PPV market, which is a shame.

Added this week to the WM card ...

Sheamus v. HHH
CM Punk v. Rey Misterio (rumoured to be hair v. mask)

Also, Michaels v. Undertaker is now No DQ / No Countout

And, they added even more dudes to the MITB match. It now includes: Evan Bourne, Christian, Dolph Ziggler, Kane, Shelton Benjamin, Jack Swagger, MVP, Matt Hardy, Drew McIntyre

1st post will be updated to include these additions.

Added tonight ... Randy Orton v. Cody Rhodes v. Ted DiBiase ... sounds good.

Added the other night ... Big Show & Miz v. John Morrison & R-Truth (bathroom break match)

I expect maybe one more match to be added, some kind of Divas gimmick match, and that should do it. Pretty damn good card, top to bottom. I may have to order it.
