I like it. Snow and bad weather games are usually wildly entertaining. Plus, we all know that the Super Bowl really mostly hosts rich assholes, so it would be a nice dose of karma if they had to sit through a blizzard.

Ugh...Very against this.

I know change is good but the Super Bowl should not be a cold weather event. This is worse than moving the Pro Bowl to the same city as the Super Bowl.

You must not have come to the D when the Steelers won the Super Bowl because Detroit did cold weather cities proud when they hosted. It was amazingly well done.

But NY? It will be way too expensive for a regular joe to celebrate if there team is there.

Yes, but didn't the venue in Detroit have a domed roof or something?

Don't like this at all. The northeast already gets everything they want, and I always liked that the Super Bowl was a chance for other places to get a chance to shine. Now everyone from Robert Kraft to Daniel Snyer is saying "Us too!". Also, the Super Bowl is a week long party now. That's great when you're in Miami or New Orleans where it's warm and there's a great and unique atmosphere. Not so much in freezing-ass New York where it's too expensive to breathe.

I doubt they will ever have the Super Bowl in New England, because Gilette Stadium is like an hour away from Boston and kind of in the middle of nowhere.
