Orgasmically great news for RSS ...

WWE has purchased the old Mid South Wrestling tape collection from the family of Ene Watts, who acquired the collection as part of her divorce settlement from Cowboy Bill Watts. There had been negotiations going on for years. I'm guessing the timing has to do with the WWE network starting and wanting programming that hasn't been seen on the air in 25 years. Whatever money they would have gotten from DVD sales would have already been just about finished by this point.

I appreciate any power bomb.
Nice to see Sid Vicious back on Raw.

Sid looked old as hell. I thought he may have stolen DDP's face there for a minute.

OK I missed a meeting, Sid is back on WWE programming? When did this happen?
I need to watch RAW over the next few weeks. Is he wrestling or just looking old?

He was the obligatory retro wrestler the WWE has on each week now as it builds to its historic 1,000th episode.

Sid may have looked old, but he wasn't as bad as Wendi Richter.

Sid looked old and haggared on Raw :( . Just watched some of it on youtube and it was boring. I used to enjoy watching Sid back in his days on WCW when he was a skyscraper though. Oh to be young again  .
Wendy Richter must be 112 at least.

Thoughts and prayers, of course, to Jerry Lawler tonight.

Scary situation, my friends, keep The King in your hearts this evening.

What's this about possible brain damage? This info from the ex-wife to be believed?

I don't think we'll know the extent of any brain damage for at least a day or two. Rumor has it that Lawler was 'clinically dead' for 20 minutes or something like that.

From LA Times:
"Jerry Lawler, who suffered a heart attack during "Monday Night Raw" earlier this week, is being slowly taken off sedation and had his ventilator removed, but remains in serious but stable condition at a Montreal hospital on Wednesday. He had surgery Tuesday to have three stents put in his coronary arteries.

Lawler can blink, nod and squeeze with his hands, but doctors still aren't sure as to the extent of the damage, if any, done to his brain until they get all the tests back Wednesday morning."
