I can't take many more nail biters in this series. Game 3 was a truly epic showdown between two keyed in pitchers. For all the talk about the Boston bats going cold, Detroit has been pretty futile at the plate as well.

That said, I predict we'll see a bit of a slugfest in Game 4 with a final score of something like 8 to 6.

Meanwhile, it looks like St. Louis is going to ruin Greg Bishop's baseball season yet again. Those god damned Cardinals always win and they are so fucking boring. Hopefully either Boston or Detroit will win it all this year, because I can't take another Cardinals World Series victory.

Try having St. Louis in your division. Not to mention the 2 times in the past 30 years the Brewers had a chance to win a World Series only to have the Cardinals snatch that away.

Ugh. Game 4 was dreadful for Boston. Such a frustrating game. Peavy was fucking atrocious (likely bringing up all the debate over the 'big trade' from the Summer again and rightfully so) and the Sox just couldn't capitalize on all their base runners. Something like a ridiculous 8 or 9 guys left in scoring position. Just fugly all the way around.

Oh well. I'll be ready for Game 5 tonight. This series has been a war!

Whatever happens, you can't have your shortstop back.

You can keep him. The Sox will take their shot at the World Series.

That said, great ALCS, bud. Tigers were fucking tough !

Bring on the Sox. (insert trash talk here) Tim.

Bring on the Cardinals, Hillbilly.

Awesome game today. Fortunately i have the MLB.com subscription and can watch in China. I can't wait for the rematch. What's October without baseball, wherever you are in the world?

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed seeing the Dropkick Murphys perform in that element.

And Fenway singing "Sweet Caroline" when they're about to go to the World Series is pretty fucking epic.

Tip of the cap my friend.

But watch out for the Cardinals. Those birds come hoping to crush dreams.

I'm sure the Cardinals will be extremely tough, but the Tigers were inanely tough and the Sox survived. Believe me, I'm not looking past any teams, which is why my usual boisterous trash talk has been muted this year and replaced with quiet, hopeful fandom. I have faith in these Sox and hope that they can pull off another 'stunner.'

Not being a fan of either team in the World Series I do have to say that David Ortiz is clutch. Id put him in the HOF just for the shit hes done in the playoffs.
