I support anything that makes Vince's life hell.

Those damn independent wrestlers are gumming up the works.

I think the straw that broke the camels back was Batista returning and winning the rumble. He hasn't wrestled in 4 years and his first match back he wins the rumble to headline WM which Punk had said that's his last accomplishment. It's a little disappointing but I get where he's coming from. I'm interested to see the backlash to all of this.

I think it's a big gimmick. Good for business.

Punk goes on a vacation like he's pissed off at the McMahons. Meanwhile, they continue to screw over Bryan and anger the smart marks.

I think Punk probably sees that if you leave for a while and then come back, you get a bigger push and higher profile matches. He's reached that level now where he can pull it off and it's better to take a year or two off and then come back as a 'returning star' rather than waste away slowly moving down the card after his awesome run as champion.

Lita?

Ridiculous.

They want to induct one diva per year. Who else would you suggest? Baby Doll?

That said, my own sarcastic response reminded me that Missy Hyatt or even Sable are more HoF worthy (WWE, of course), but Lita is within that range.

Plus, as insane as it sounds, Trish & Lita were kind of the like the Austin & Rock of the WWE diva boom during the attitude era.

I hope they bring back Essa Rios to induct her. :D :)

Maybe we can tape some balloons and a mop head to Mr. Fuji's cane and get it in next year.

You actually wrote that.
You're probably right, which is why I'm damn glad I skipped that whole era.

Three women who deserve to be in the HOF before her.

1. Elizabeth. -- OD or not, she belongs. It's not like Vince has clean hands when it comes to drugs anyway.
2. Francine. The Queen of ECW.
3. Chyna. She won a women's title AND a men's title.

4. Missy Hyatt -- her best days were in the territories, but you could argue successfully that every blond bimbo that Vince has ever brought into the WWE was not even close to being as hot as Missy was during her Mid-South/World Class days.

5. Debby Miceli. You can call her Madusa. You can call her Alundra Blazye. You should also call her a HOFer before Lita. She spent a lot of years on the road carving out a career.

Elizabeth should and likely will be inducted the same year they induct Savage. It's only proper. To induct her now or first would only draw attention to the omission of Savage.

Francine didn't have a fraction of the impact that Lita did. Perhaps it is because you didn't watch at that time, but Lita was hugely over. She and Trish were far and away the top two divas of the division and Lita was super, super popular and still is today. Francine was a bit player for a handful of years in the distant #3 promotion.

Chyna turned into a drug-addled mess who did porn to make ends meet in recent years. I can't see WWE inducting her unless she has truly cleaned up her act. I wholly agree that she is HoF worthy, but politically and from a public relations standpoint, I can see why they don't want to honor her yet.

Missy Hyatt never worked for WWE, except for brief one month spell in the 1980's, but I think she'll get the nod at some point and does deserve it as the 'original diva.'

Medusa ... meh. I agree that she was a tremendous worker and made an impact in various places, but she doesn't seem to have that 'it' factor. She suffers from being way ahead of her time.

We'll disagree on Francine. She's by far the best valet in wrestling history.

She helped make ECW. And for its short lifespan, ECW was definitely the most exciting wrestling promotion going at the time. While Lita was putting people to sleep in the WWE, Francine was getting powerbombed through tables.

-- and the WWE does acknowledge her as the Queen of Extreme on their profile page.

I think Chyna only gets in when they induct DX. That way they really don't have to focus too much attention to her. I think Francine is a long ways away if it ever happens but I wouldn't mind it.

I'm beginning to like Cesaro more and more every week. Guarantee he is the strongest guy in the locker room and although the swing is a little cheesy it's also fuckin sweet. It seems like he doesn't even get dizzy. 8)

Razor Ramon for the HOF. Nice!!!!!

I hope they stage a little NWO reunion, since Hogan will be there for wrestle mania. Nash has to attend, right?
