Gorightly's dissing the Tigers. Interesting.

I doubt it. The O's will stink. Stuck in a perpetual 'bridge year.'

Welp. I am an ass.

Within the next week or so, I will have the standings for the predictions. Still a few races that are up in the air, though, so it's anyone's 'game.'

As of the start of the 2014 MLB Playoffs ...

BoA:Audio Baseball Special Standings:

RSS - 7/10**
Offutt - 7/10**
Binnall - 6/10*
Coleman - 6/10***
Bishop - 5/10**
Kimball - 4/10*
Gorightly - 2/10*

For starters, there are no points to made via transposed picks in the event of a tie, because all remaining players picked teams that didn't make the playoffs.

Here are the various scenarios by which the title could now be determined ...

RSS needs the Nationals to win the NL title and the Tigers to not win the AL title or the Tigers to beat the Nationals in the WS and he wins outright.
Offutt needs the Dodgers to win NL title and the Tigers to either not win the AL title or lose in the WS to the Dodgers and he wins outright.
Loren needs the Nationals to beat Detroit in the WS and he wins outright.
Binnall needs the Giants to win NL title and he shares 1/3 of the title.
Loren can also get a 1/3 share of the title if Detroit wins AL title and neither Nationals nor Dodgers nor Giants make it to the WS.
If, by some misfortune of the Gods, the Giants play the Tigers in the WS, regardless of the outcome, Binnall, Loren, RSS, and Offutt will all end up with 7/13 and share 1/4 of the title.

If none of the above happens, RSS & Offutt tie and share the 2014 Baseball Special Title.

Of note, Greg Bishop still has 2 possible points on the board, but they're the same as Offutt's, so he is out. Kimball and Gorightly are both also eliminated.

usofe ranks:

thornybastard - 6/10**
shotz90s - 6/10**
Tony Salamone - 6/10*
superdanwonder5 - 5/10***

This one's just a mess, lol.

Essentially ...

thornybastard needs the Nationals to win.
shotzd90s needs Dodgers to win.
Tony Salamone needs the Giants to win.
superdanwonder needs the Dodgers to defeat Tigers in WS to win.

There are likely other permutations where different winners may be crowned, involving transposed picks, but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. Let's see if any of the above scenarios happens so that we can avoid doing the math.
