Ok so I got say this is a very unpredictable season so far. I mean the Brewers with the best record in the MLB?!? St. Louis just barley .500. Arizona, who I thought maybe was a playoff team, with only 8 wins. And of course those damn Yanks in first place. :x :|

Tigers beat the Red Sox @$$ this weekend.

Where's the cop with his hands up behind the fence, TB? Where's the clown cop now??????

All kidding aside, the tigers are playing scary good right now.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say Tampa Bay isn't gonna make the playoffs, I'm shocked they have the worst record in baseball. They were a very popular pick in the preseason. I thought Detroit was a lock to win the division too but its turned out to be pretty competitive.

This is just ... insane. Lester, Lackey, Peavey, Doubront, Gomes ... all gone. Looks like Andrew Miller will be gone soon too. 3/4 of the World Series starting pitching is gone. That said, the haul for all these guys is starting to look pretty good.

lol and now the Tigers get Price. God damn, this is going to be a wild October. Glad to see Price leave Tampa Bay. I hate the Rays and all that they stand for and it looks like they really got the shit end of this deal.

Wow what a day! I'm not sure what Tampa was thinking, I feel like they could've got so much more. The A's get a lot better with Lester and I feel those dreaded Cardinals got better too.

Watch now as someone like the Angels, who made no moves today, will end up winning it all.

The Tigers made a ballsy, necessary move.
They now have the last 3 cy young winners and the 2013 era champ in their rotation for the postseason run. And Rick porcello. Verlander is their worst starting pitcher, ha.

Losing Jackson could hurt, and their defense in of can only be counted on to make the routine plays.
And shyly will be a key loss in bullpen come playoffs.

Of course, you may not need a great bullpen with scherzer, price, Sanchez and verlander in playoffs.

Tampa gets players underr control for several years. The SS the tigers gave up could end up being great. He's been compared to andrus.

That tigers-Oakland series should be epic, although it likely cost Oakland their entire offense to stack their rotation. Cabrera, if healthy, should destroy them.

So far my picks are ok, it's tough to call right now as to who looks like the favorite to win it all.

I didn't think I could hate the Cardinals more, turns out I was wrong. The Brewers picked a hell of a time to start shitting the bed, the A's also.

Well with the A's sneaking in the playoffs the official Shit The Bed award goes to.......The Brewers. 15 games above .500 as of August 25 and finish 2 games above .500 and miss the playoffs. God dang they're good! :? :o

I gotta say this has been a very entertaining post-season. I don't really care who wins the World Series, except the Cardinals. Fuck the Cardinals. :D
