Makes me feel old but also proud that I pre-date the Simpsons.

I think it is safe to say that the Simpsons is one of the Top 5 television shows of all time.

Favorite characters - Homer (of course), Moe, Comic Book Guy, Lenny & Carl, Ralph Wiggum, Kent Brockman, and, last but not least, the legendary and immortal Troy McClure.

Favorite guest star - Albert Brooks in the classic episode where he played Hank Scorpio, super villain

Favorite Episode - Deep Space Homer ...

"An artist has got to be constantly in a state of becoming." -- Bob Dylan

It is one of the top 5 but there are a lot of people out there that never "got it". I honestly don't know anyone besides me that watches the Simpsons.

Favorite Characters: Homer, Ralph Wiggum, Mr. Burns, Crazy Cat Lady, Moe, Chief Wiggum, Grandpa Simpson, Cletus, Willy

Least Favorite: Lisa, Bleeding Gums Murphy, Homer's mom, Disco Stu

Best Guest Star (tie): also Albert Brooks...but the one where he is the camp director for the fat farm that Bart goes to after his heart attack... "tough luck"----& the "Wife Swap" episode w/ Ricky Gervais.

Favorite Episode(s): ... _Amendment

I remember when they debuted on a butterfinger's commercial.

There are too many shows I love to say I have a favorite, but I loved the Halloween one where they do an Edgar Allen Poe story. They've also had some good Christmas episodes. I also loved the episode where Homer goes to space.

My favorite scene was on a Superbowl episode where it shows a church and there's the pastor standing up at the pulpit and there is an old lady on the front row and the rest of the church was empty except some guy in the back. The Pastor says something like, "I'm glad to see a couple of people decided to skip the game and come to church" then the guy in the back and says "The game! I forgot about the game!" and he runs out of church.
