The voting has begun for the 2009 Zorgy Awards. It will be open until late on March 7th.

BoA has been nominated for best podcast, and BoA columnist Lesley Gunter's site The Debris Field has been nominated for best paranormal news service.

You can vote at: http://redstarfilms.blogspot.com/2010/0 ... egins.html

Paul

BofA takes the early lead! Vote early and often.

I didn't cast a vote in the paranormal TV show category. They can all suck it as far as I'm concerned.

I found myself voting for Mac Tonnies in all of the categories that he was in, not because he passed away, but because he was one of the people (including Jacques Vallee and Terrence McKenna) that did more to assist my tiny little brain in opening up to the universe of possibilities than anyone else. That's a pretty big accomplishment for someone so young. The work of Mac and the others mentioned assisted me in seeing beyond the ETH theory which in turn challenged everything that I believed was the truth.

Sadly, both McKenna and Mac are gone and Dr. Vallee will be gone at some point in the near future (Jesus, that sounded like a threat towards Vallee but it really wasn't).

I guess we'll never get that Mac Tonnies/Jeremy Vaeni podcast I imagined titled "Mac & Cheese". (Kidding, I love Paratopia).

Rest assured, the proper authorities have been notified of your plans, you sick animal.

In all seriousness, I totally see what you mean about Mac. He had a way of looking at things in a wholly unique way, while also making it look so obvious and easy, sort of like a really great athlete, if that makes any sense.

BoA is ahead, of Paratopia, 319-306. Dark Matters is a distant 3rd with 251.
Damn, I haven`t listened to Dark Matters since Dwight Shultz was the co-host.
Paratopia Episode 48 - Binnallatopia?

We now return you to your regularly scheduled program...

The voting actually ended Sunday night, so we won the Zorgy for Top Podcast.

Thanks to everyone here who helped out.
