Hey Binnall,

Figured I'd have some fun and start a thread of interesting music to suggest to use for your bumpers/segueways/intros...all genres, but all on topic, anyone else have cool suggestions?

Sneaky Sound System - UFO
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXDJN9sqgP4
"I saw a UFO and nobody believes me..."

Clutch - Spacegrass
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTuo1sSxCM4
man, I wanted to use "escape from the prison planet" because it is full of Bob Lazar references - but you know it's associated with that other guys radio show *cough*, but this song is equally awesome, what's better than flying through space in your 1973 Dodge Dart Swinger...

Blue Oyster Cult - Agents of Fortune
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OU9NCvYKB7k
"three men in black said, don't report this!...he's found the awful truth...he's found the saucer bluuuuuesss."

Air - Venus
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_7oOMzbpa0
"you could be from Venus, I could be from mars, we could be together...."

Beastie Boys - Intergalactic
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7UnhSz1fSQ
"Intergalactic Planetary..."

The Bird and the Bee - The Witch
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBaP5HdwPLA
"Yes I am a witch, and I have conjured you for my bidding...."

TV on the Radio - Staring at the Sun
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHrTOQ18yzU
"You're staring at the sun, you're standing in the sea, Your mouth is open wide, you're trying hard to breathe,The water's at your neck, there's lightning in your teeth..."

I'll have to make a suggestion of my own now.

Not a suggestion, but a question for Binnall or anyone that might know...

What is that song that you used a couple of months ago as the intro to BoA or PopCast that goes "are you ready for the summer, are you ready for good time"? (or something along those lines)

That's gotta be one of the most satanic things I've ever heard.

Sounds like the Meatball theme, but I don't think I've used that for at least a year or so. Does it sound like it is being sung by kids?

Yep.

Maybe I was listening to an older episode.

Yeah, I used it as the mid-show bumper for the Season III finale w. Jacques Vallee, back when BoA:Audio used to finish up with still some Summer left, lol.

Yeah that was it. I just watched the opening sequence of the movie on youtube and the song didn't sound as freaky in context. But, I swear I thought this is a scary ass fucking song when I heard it on the podcast. Maybe I was drifting to sleep when the song kicked in or something.
