Since I should have some time on my hands in the next 2 months, I'm thinking of doing another BoA re-design. The homepage has been in its current incarnation for about 2 years. I feel like it might be time for a fresh coat of paint.

As I have switched to IE8, I think I will probably want to make it a bit more compatible w. that. Thinking of switching the streaming audio player to a diff. style as well. And, a different layout for the front page. Maybe streamline it a bit more. I was tempted to go blog-style, but I am really against the blogification of all websites, so I will probably stick with the more old-school, handmade, Drudgian look.

Anyway, anyone with any suggestions, lemme know.

I'm a graphic designer with Flash ( hint, hint) experience. If you need any help let me know. I work for free, just need good portfolio pieces.

Don't forget to make it look good in real browsers too ;)

You need big, shiny, icons. And gradients, lots of gradients. And 72 different social media icons. And Twitter and Facebook, I must know what is happening at any given nanosecond.

Yes, real browsers too. Always happy to check in FF or Safari if you need.

I don't know about big shiny icons, but twitter updates are always popular. Also, maybe some widget thingie that shows the latest posts here. No prostate ads though. :)

I've dove headfirst into it already. It's going to be awesome! A fresh look for BOA.

Very exciting!

I'd be willing to help if needed, coding PHP or Javascript, or plain ol' HTML/CSS, etc. Web dev is my day job.

Cool, thanks !

Let me conference w. jboston, since he's already produced a swank template and see if/where we can work you into the process. I do want to have you on the re-design team, since I'd like this to be a community process.

That would be great! It would be nice to have someone there who understands coding better than I do. Programming is definitely not my field of expertise.

As noted @ the beginning of the S4 finale and in this thread title, the BoA re-design is a whole hearted "go." The title of the overall project is "BoA 2.0" and we are really planning on making this an awesome re-launch of the site with a fresh & professional new look. Big thanks to jboston for his help in making this project a reality.

We will definitely need your help !! I believe jboston has contacted you and I've been meaning to write to you as well, I've just been insanely busy this last week. We've got an aspect of BoA 2.0 that is almost certainly going to require your expertise, so welcome to the team !!

To everyone else ...

Any improvements, suggestions, changes, etc. that you would like to see @ BoA, let me know and we will see what we can do to make it happen.
