A few questions about GH...

#1 Does anyone know how this show is doing? I would think that people are growing tired of it by now but there are a lot of idiots in the world.

#2 Does anyone else see right through Grant Wilson? This guy is conveniently around whenever they catch ghostly "phenomena", I smell a rat-faker. Am I the only one?

#1 - Unfortunately, GH continues to be a ratings juggernaut for Scyfy. Here's a press release from mid-January which says that "the fifth season of Ghost Hunters, the #1 paranormal investigative series on television, became the best season ever for any Syfy original series in Adults 18-34, Adults 18-49, Women 18-49 and Women 25-54."

#2 - I heard that if there are any hijinks then it is not the bald guy's work, it is the other guy. I don't know which is which. I also forget who told me this, lol, but someone did.

There have been rumblings in the ghost community for a while about the veracity of the show.

I have read several articles that said there are a lot of "set-ups" on GH. I don't watch, so I don't really know.

It amazes me that this show is actually increasing in popularity. Every episode is exactly the same, although I will say they're way more polished and "theatrical" now than they were in the early days. That's not a compliment.

When do we hit the law of diminishing returns?
It seems these kinds of shows are everywhere on cable now. It started out as a cool idea that has been (not shockingly) perverted and overexposed by Hollywood. Pretty disappointing.
