Bizarre and fascinating article about the impending cable war over UFO shows.

I just found out, after reading the article, that both shows will premiere on 2.6.8 @ 10 PM. So they are literally dueling "UFO Hunters" shows. Sounds retarded to me.

I must concur. It is retarded. Luckily, DVR can record both at the same time.

I knew about the name thing, but it was only a couple days ago I realized that Scifi was not only keeping that name, but decided to run their show at the same time as the History Channel Show.

Obviously the History Channel UFO Hunters will be a far better show. It will also hopefully at least double the sales of UFO Magazine. :D

I wonder if the Sci-fi show will spend half the episode showing people putting film in their cameras and setting up like Ghost Hunters?

Ya know, when Ghost Hunters PR people had me do the ghost photo contest for them I got a bunch of free ghost hunters stuff, including the DVDs of one of the seasons. I had never watched the show before and when I tried to I found it completely boring. I haven't tried watching it again. I know lots of people love that show, but it just didn't click with me.
