Now that it's been a few months, has anyone heard if the petition worked, or what exactly has the HC decided to do?

I really hope it gets brought back.

Where would they fit it with "Great" shows like Ice Road Truckers and Pawn Stars already on the air?

UFO Hunters last 4 episodes should be airing in Fall or early winter. From what I understand, the viewership of those episodes determines the future. Never mind that it was up against LOST during the rest of the season.

The marathon last night was pretty good.

The Men In Black episode was brutal, but I really liked the Area 52 Utah base ep and the military first response episode.

I also prefer the second skeptic guy to the first one, the skinny dude with the Captain Morgan goatee. He was likable enough, but his constant recreation of a sighting or event, used to bring everything to a screeching halt. This current guy with the glasses doesn't do that, but instead just plays devil's advocate which frees up time and keeps the show moving. I like that.

My educated guess at this point is that UFO Hunters won't be renewed. They didn't even air the 4 eps separately to check the ratings. I think they have replaced it with Mystery Quest, which probably has cheaper production costs. However, there is still no final word on it.

Bummer. Keep us posted if you hear more. It's a shame if the History Channel failed to give UH a fair shake.
