I've been playing a lot of Fire Pro Wrestling Returns latley, it's tough to master, but once you figure it all out (such as creation mode) it just gets more awesome!

I also have been playing a lot of the arcade collections (Tecmo, Sega, Atari), I have the SNK NEO GEO collection ordered, so it should be getting here anytime now.

I guess I'm just burnt out on all the big name titles for the new systems, although when Ghostbusters and the new Star Wars games come out, I think I'll be back to them LOL

After almost a year of not having touched it I installed World of Warcraft and started playing again because of some people at work.

I forgot just how repetitive it was. PVP is the only thing I really enjoy, but my current character is still way too low a level to do anything of note. I don't see this current round of play lasting too long, honestly. I've got too much going on to invest all my free time in an MMO right now.

Most Call of Duty 4 and Team Fortress 2, for me. Haven't had a whole lot of time to play video games lately.

Ok...Ok...I know it's Disney, but Pirates of the Caribbean Online is possibly the best game ever made. I don't think I obsessed over any of the GTA games quite like this one. It's got great sea battles, sword fights, voodoo, parlor games etc. Honestly, if you're bored and looking for something new give this one a try...they got my $50 for the half-year subscription...anybody else play this one?

Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning beta starts soon. I will be playing in the free preview weekend starting Aug. 22...

...feel free to ask any questions.

Other than that, I've been playing mostly Team Fortress 2 and a little bit of Geometry Wars 2.

Finally got round to picking up Mass Effect, so that's what I'm playing right now. I'm also playing Lost Odyssey, but I'm thinking it's going to get traded in.

I hit Hastings at their buy 2 get one free used game sale and picked up Gears of War (360), Lost Planet (360), Batman Begins (Xbox), Resident Evil 4 (PS2), Odin's Sphere (PS2) and Top Spin 2 (360) for less than 50 bucks.

So far I suck at Gears, haven't tried Lost Planet, played one game of Top Spin, a few hours of Odin's Sphere (It's like a side scrolling RPG), a lot of Begins and a buttload of RE4.

I can't wait to see how Batman: Arkham Asylum turns out. Batman meets Splinter Cell and Assasin's Creed??? I am so there.

EDIT: How does Mass Effect rate against KOTOR?

It's a very good game, but compared to KOTOR if falls a little bit short. The combat/weapons/armor system of Mass Effect is incredibly basic and stripped down compared to KOTOR, or even Baldur's Gate (I and II). The biotics system just doesn't have the depth of the force/magic systems of those games. The weapons are fairly generic, as well (what I loved about KOTOR is how I could have a squard with firearms, swords, lightsabers, etc. Or in Baldur's Gate, bows, swords, staves, etc. Here, it's all guns. Different types of guns, but all guns.).

That said, I like the universe BioWare created, the story/character progression is strong (as always), the production values are fantastic, and the game is very fun to play. It's a much better game than Jade Empire (I'd rather have a stripped down KOTOR style combat system than the heavily flawed system of Jade Empire), and I think they've laid a strong groundwork to expand on in sequels.

Gwen Stefani named her new baby Zuma.
I wonder if she knows she named the kid after a video game?
