The First major Hurricane to hit the East coast in seven years, Hurricane Irene
is predicted to hit the shores of North Carolina on Saturday afternoon bringing winds up 115mph.
The storm is expected travel up the East Coast dumping severe rains from
Virgina to New York and then reach land in Connecticut in a more weakened state.
The storm is expected to taper off in Maine on Monday.
