Since there is not a prem thread - - just choosing to stick this here.

Also - - not saying this is really a premonition - - - don't know what it is.

I keep seeing/feeling water - - like big ocean waves.

This is really weird and "off" for me - - - I'm not the "ocean view" person - - that was my mom - - - I'm a desert person.

It always annoys me - - on all those meditation tapes they have you walking on a quietly serene beach with the waves lapping at the shore. Why can't it ever be the serene desert????????????

I grew up near mountains, so l like the peaceful serenity of a mountain stream. I was 19 years old when I first saw an ocean, and although I think it's beautiful, I'm not as comfortable with oceans as I am with mountains. Also, the beach usually to me means humidity and salty air and unidentifible stuff, and I identifiable garbage on the beach.

Well - - I grew up at the beaches - like Santa Monica - its just never done anything for me. And yes they are now filthy.

As you - I much prefer a stream in the mountains or pristene lake - - and I love my desert.

So getting water/big waves stuck in my head is odd.

Why don't you write one? Maybe if you sent a script to one of the companies that publish those tapes and CD's, they would buy it.

I always found the mountains that are covered in snow, with the high clear air to be the spiritual trigger for me. I am surrounded by beaches and only visit them when I have out of state visiters. The only beach I have really found incredible, that I have visited was in Grand Cayman. Snorkeling there in the clear bath temp water, surrounded by tropical fish was also a very otherworldly experience.

Its getting worse!

For me - normal - is when "somethng" jumps in my head during the waking day hours and stays there for days or weeks or longer. Like the water/waves.

Not this time - - this one came like a nuclear explosion in the middle of the night.

I had one of those "panic" wake ups from a dream. I was dreaming (I guess) about viewing what I think was the west coast of Africa - from the air. Then something happened and I woke up shaking with panic.

OK - - now if a tsunami hits the coast of Africa - - I am going to be freaked!!

I always found it strange that on those tapes you are instructed to think of a day at the beach. I live near the beach and I know that beach can be a place of great danger. I was surfing once, and a kid was pulled under in a rip tide and drowned. The ocean is something to be feared and respected.

The ocean is highly over-rated. That filthy cesspool, where we dump our sewage, where dead bodies wash up on shore, where fish do the nasty - ewwwwwwwwwwwwww
